Our Cancellation Policy

To ensure fairness for both our clients and security professionals, we require a 30-day notice for contract terminations. This allows us to properly manage staffing, uphold service quality, and provide a smooth transition for all parties involved.

Cancellation Terms:

30-Day Advance Notice – Any contract terminations must be submitted at least 30 days before the intended cancellation date to allow for workforce adjustments and operational planning. ✅ Final Payment Obligation – The last month of service must be fulfilled through either:

  • Security deposit deduction, or
  • Standard direct payment via agreed payment method. ✅ Detailed Cancellation Reason Required – A thorough explanation of the cancellation must be provided to ensure clarity and business alignment.

At Sentinel Zero, we uphold professionalism, transparency, and operational efficiency. To ensure fairness and business stability, the following policies apply to contract cancellations, refunds, and payment issues:

Contract Cancellations & Late Terminations

30-Day Notice Requirement – All contracts must be terminated with a minimum of 30 days’ written notice to ensure proper staffing and security coverage. ✅ Failure to Provide 30-Day Notice – If a client terminates a contract mid-month, they will be subject to:

  • A late termination fee, equivalent to one full month of service
  • Immediate payment obligations to cover transition costs ✅ Final Payment Obligations – The last month’s fee must be paid through either:
  • Security deposit deduction, or
  • Normal direct deposit payment

Refund Policy

Refund Processing Time – Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days from request submission. ✅ Non-Refundable Services – Any security service already rendered before cancellation will not be eligible for reimbursement.

Payment Issues & Bounce Check Fees

Insufficient Funds or Returned Payments – Any bounced checks or failed payments due to insufficient funds will result in:

  • A non-negotiable penalty fee of $150, plus any additional costs incurred for collection.
  • Immediate suspension of services until payment is fully resolved. ✅ Repeated Payment Failures – Clients with two or more insufficient fund transactions may be required to prepay future services.
